This is actually similar to the pistol designs for a contemporary fantasy comic book I was working on that went nowhere. The revolver cylinder contained gemstones, and the automatic back half contained blanks, with the flash of light passing through whatever magic gem was in the chamber to shoot fireballs, lightning, etc.

I’ll admit to having a soft spot for Constance Rifle/Loose Ruth’s setup:
In addition to the obvious ones like Millie’s giant repurposed t-shirt cannon of doom.

Oh I’m not suicidal. Just a firearms enthusiast. Who would like to build his own 1911 but finds building an autoloader more daunting then a revolver.

I’ll admit to having watched a few episodes. May have influenced the design somewhat.

Getting there. I’m visualizing the recoil force aligned with my forearm.

Interesting. Didn’t notice that many different revolvers. Also, I want the barrel directly in line with my forearm. No muzzle climb if I can help it.
